Daniel K. Inouye Scholarship in Astronomy - Fund is to assist students majoring in Astronomy at the University of Hawai'i at Hilo who have expressed a desire to pursue a career in the field of Astronomy. Funds shall be used for costs associated with attendance (tuition, books, fees, etc). Criteria: >3.5 GPA, full-time, pref. to HI high-school alum. Amount $3,672 for AY 2019-20.

The Walter and Betty Steiger Physics & Astronomy Scholarship - Purpose of scholarship is to assist full-time undergraduate Physics & Astronomy majors at the University of Hawaii at Hilo. Recipients must have graduated from a Hawaii high school. Criteria: >3.0 GPA, full-time, HI high-school alum Amount: $1,500 for AY 19-20

2019 - Nevan Lowe

Richard A. Crowe Memorial Scholarship - In honor of a former P&A faculty member (1987 to ~2013). Donated by Richard Crowe’s daughter/family. The purpose of this Fund is to provide scholarship assistance to undergraduate students majoring in astronomy (or astrophysics if offered in the future) at the University of Hawai‘i at Hilo College of Arts and Sciences. Funds shall be used for costs associated with attendance (tuition, books, fees, etc.). Criteria: > 3.0 GPA, full-time Amount: $500 for AY 19-20

Paul H. I. Coleman Scholarship - In honor of a former an IfA at UH Manoa faculty member (2002 to ~2017). Donated by Roberta and Newton Chu. The purpose of this Fund is to provide scholarship support to students pursuing an undergraduate degree in Astronomy at the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa or the University of Hawai'i at Hilo. Funds shall be used for costs associated with attendance (e.g. tuition, books, fees, etc.). Criteria: full-time, pref. to HI high-school alum Amount: $$
